THE BRIEF

Designed as a complete transformation of a Toronto members' club, café, and dog-focused community space, this project reimagined both the physical environment and the brand experience. The goal was to create a destination that felt warm, layered, and full of character, moving away from a minimal aesthetic in favour of a space that encouraged connection, comfort, and a stronger sense of identity.

OUR APPROCH

Inspired by timeless interiors and thoughtfully collected spaces, the design embraced rich textures, colour, pattern, and natural materials to create an atmosphere that felt welcoming, expressive, and effortlessly lived in. Vintage artwork, curated antiques, and custom furnishings were carefully layered throughout the interiors, balancing old and new while giving the space a renewed sense of personality and authenticity.

CHALLENGE

Lauren led the creative direction and project management from concept through completion, overseeing every aspect of the interior refresh. She selected all furniture, lighting, fabrics, finishes, and tile, sourced vintage décor and one-of-a-kind objects, commissioned custom pieces, and coordinated closely with trades, vendors, and suppliers to deliver the renovation within a two-week business closure. Every design decision was made with the intention of creating a cohesive experience that was both functional for everyday use and reflective of the brand's evolving identity.

BRAND IDENTITY

Beyond the interiors, Lauren also guided the company's rebrand, working alongside a brand design studio to develop a visual identity that felt elevated, approachable, and deeply aligned with the renewed space. This vision extended across every customer touchpoint, from signage, merchandise, and café packaging to digital assets and branded materials, creating a seamless connection between the brand and the environment it inhabits.
