THE BRIEF
Before celebrating with family and friends in New York, the couple chose to exchange their vows in a deeply personal civil ceremony at the bride's childhood home in Toronto. Surrounded by their immediate family, the celebration was designed to feel intimate, joyful, and effortlessly elegant, a meaningful beginning to their next chapter together.
OUR APPROCH
Inspired by the warmth of an early summer garden, the design embraced a fresh palette of soft yellows and verdant greens, layered with playful patterns and thoughtful details that brought personality and charm to the day. The backyard was transformed into a serene setting for the religious ceremony, while the home's formal dining room welcomed guests for an intimate dinner. Every element was carefully considered to create a seamless transition from ceremony to celebration, allowing the home itself to become part of the story.
CHALLENGE
Lauren led the creative direction and planning from concept through execution, overseeing every aspect of the celebration. She sourced and coordinated all rentals, collaborated closely with the florist to develop the floral vision, curated the catering experience, coordinated the officiant, and managed every design and logistical detail to ensure the day unfolded effortlessly. From the ceremony setting to the final tablescape, each element worked together to create a celebration that felt cohesive, welcoming, and true to the couple.
