THE BRIEF
Designed to celebrate the upcoming arrival of a baby boy, this baby shower reimagined the traditional seated luncheon as a warm, cocktail-style gathering centered around connection, movement, and thoughtful hospitality. Inspired by the baby's nickname, "Teddy," and the timeless elegance of Ralph Lauren, the design blended classic Americana with soft, nostalgic touches to create an atmosphere that felt both elevated and inviting.
OUR APPROCH
Rather than a formal dining layout, the event was carefully planned to maximize the space while encouraging guests to mingle naturally. Distinct areas were created for dining, games, conversation, and celebration, allowing the afternoon to unfold with ease. A beautifully catered buffet became a central gathering point, while a dedicated bar served handcrafted coffees, mocktails, and cocktails throughout the event.
CHALLENGE
Lauren led the creative direction from concept through installation, beginning with a curated design vision that established the aesthetic for every detail. She designed the event collateral, sourced all rentals and décor, and collaborated closely with the florist to create arrangements that complemented the colour palette and overall atmosphere. From the tablescape and styling details to the guest experience and final installation, every element was thoughtfully considered to create a celebration that felt cohesive, welcoming, and deeply personal.
